I don’t usually use graph paper as I find the grid somehow restrictive. Still, I felt like I was wandering off too much from my original mapping style and wanted to kind of rewind a bit backwards and try something simpler for a change.
When I started drawing this map it was supposed to be an ancient alien structure… well, it turned out to be a dungeon after all 😀
When I started adding details I felt that this could work as an underground library of sorts and instead of a dwarven library I wanted to do something different, so I added the spider-like statues to give the place a bit more drow feel to it. I thought that this could also be used in Star Wars RPGs as a Dark Side Sith temple of sorts.
