In the woods close to a small town, there is a temple of a small, but fast-growing cult. The cult has made its home in a gnomish workshop that was abandoned a long time ago. What happened to the gnomes, nobody knows or remembers anymore.

A Corvus-Class HX-50 Light Freighter has crashlanded. Initial sensor readings have some good and bad news. Lifesigns are detected, but the reactor core is going critical any minute now. Your crew needs to hurry to get the operation done before any survivors and the ship’s valuable data is vaporized.
The commercial & Patreon version of this map comes with a bunch of different versions. Besides the versions with different annotations and hud options, there is also a night vision version of the map.

Small caves are perfect for short “side quests”. You can inhabit them with marauding humanoids, beasts or other creatures, like bugbears in this case. Well, the map was just named after bugbears, but you can use what ever nasty critters you like 😉 As an after thought I would actually use owlbears, but that’s just me… 🙂
The cave has a main entrance hidden behind some big rocks and there’s a small back entrance on the other side of the caves. This could be used as an escape route or for ventilation for example. It should be easy to climb to the small ledge leading to the back entrance.

One day at work I thought that it would be fun to draw a map shaped like a skull. Also, I had just recently bought a new ink brush and wanted to try it out. I was positively surprised how the lines turned out with the brush pen.
